Oh, Mando, I have a secret about Dave and I really want to tell you, but my husband insisted I shouldn't tell anyone, 'cause he's afraid the surprise will get spoiled.. But it's wonderful. He's a truly, truly, truly nice man who is doing something really wonderful for these two little girls we know (he lives in Seattle, and is their next door neighbor). They won't find out about it for years. But it's awesome.

At my reception, our "grand entrance" song is DMB's "Two Step". The DJ had no idea what it was.

A Moment

"Two Step". giants stadium, june 2001. the encore. a torrential downpour. anyone who was there swears the thunder and lightening were completely in sync with the music. i don't think anything will ever top that.

i get teary just thinking about it.

a most excellent choice!

(the wedding i'm in this saturday? the bride and groom are walking in to the theme from "rocky". you don't get more typical yawn that!)
